So, the Kaleidoscope soundtrack is finalized and the Office Politics soundtrack just needs some final polish. What does this mean? Well, it means I’ve still got tons of other stuff I want to do! I have two OCR album projects I’m part of, numerous arrangements and original compositions. I’m currently in the concept stages of a new arrangement aimed for OCR. Since I’m heads over heels in love with the Armored Core-series and soundtrack I thought it was time to do something to show that.

As you might hear I’ve taken the track in another direction completely. The thought was to make an Armored Core track really happy for once. Something that might play after the protagonist raven has finally finished fighting. I do realize the staccato synth is a bit annoying but I’m getting to that later, this is only two hours work after all. Personally I think the main beat is pretty nice. I layered a detuned synth bass with a tuned electronic drum kit from the Flatpack sample library. The way the bass follows the drum pattern at first and then proceeds to play more syncopated really got to me. Now I just have to make it a musically interesting arrangement too!
